7 Behaviors that can make you a Successful person

Some people are successful and some are not. In order to be successful you have to do as the successful people do and avoid what unsuccessful one do.
In order to be successful you have to be disciplined and to be following the following steps
- Motivate yourself:
- Have Goals: you have to have precisely stated Goals that you want to reach. Those goals have to be SMART: Specific – Measurable – Achievable – Realistic and Timed. Will write an article about those major features that define goals, but the most important point that I want to elaborate is to “write them down”. Goals have to be written and revised every day
- Visualize: always see your goals being achieved in your mind; this is what I call visualization. Visualize yourself driving your new Mercedes, signing a large contract, having the house of your dreams.
- Quantify and calculate: always calculate your short-term targets as well as your long-term targets. For example, if you are a salesman or even selling a car, a house or even stocks, write down your target price on paper, imagine yourself achieving it and what you will do with the profit out of this sale. Then try to find ways to achieve that target. Your mind will be working by itself in that direction. Of course, the price you set should be within the normal market prices, no problem to be on the high side however has to be realistic and equivalent to the value you are delivering.
- Plan for achievement: Put a plan in well-defined steps and timeline in order to be able to achieve your Goals. You cannot achieve your goals unless you work hard to achieve them, and working hard needs to be planned in order to be able to reach your goals.
- Learn and train: always learn something new. Dedicate at least one hour daily for learning or training. You have a lot of ways to learn new things and acquire knowledge that will help you achieve your goals and excel in your business. The Internet is one of the ways you can learn new knowledge, you can just Google for anything, or search on Youtube and you will get the answer. There are many resources online that you can benefit from, you can even buy books online or audio-books where you can listen in your car. You can even subscribe to specialized periodicals that provide you with specialized knowledge that will help you advance in your career. Get trained and acquire new skills, for example you can get trained on typing in order to be faster in writing your reports, emails and any work needed to be written, if you write faster you will save time you can utilize in different areas, in addition that you will be able to write long reports or letters without being lazy to do so. Speed reading is also one of the skills needed to perform as you will be able to read and learn faster thus gaining acceleration in your attempt to upgrade.
- Take care of yourself: Sleep well, Eat well and play some sports regularly. If you sleep well you are giving your mind a chance to think well and that will help you learn and work well. Eat vegetables and fruits that will keep your mind and body fresh, try to watch your weight. If you are fat try to lose weight, this will make you happy as well as that will prevent a lot of diseases and will help you focus. When you play sports, you will gain endurance and physical and mind fitness as this will push blood in your brains thus feeding it with enough oxygen needed for it to perform.
- Accompany the winners: hanging around with successful people will have a good effect on you. Keep in mind that they became successful because they have some behaviors and habits that made them successful. There is an old say that “Birds of a feather flock together”, so just by choosing successful friends can get you near to success. On the other hand: don not hang out with losers.
- Act fast and serious: when you are working, work all the time. This is an essential rule that will make you progress and achieve more. Socializing with co workers will not help you much. Spending time on Facebook and twitter will not help either unless you are promoting your business or it is your actual work. Try to work more than the working hours, so if your work hours are 8 hours, try to have minimum breaks and maximum work the rest of the day. So if you have 2 half hour breaks, then you have to work at least 7 complete hours net without any time to be wasted doing anything else. If you plan your day from the beginning, and have clear needed tasks to achieve that day, you will be able to do them. Tasks should be between 3 and seven in order to be achievable and focused, and start with the most difficult ones first. You can have the brain consuming tasks at the beginning of the day while you are fresh, and have the repetitive tasks and preparation tasks that need not using your brains much towards the end of the day.

At the end if you find that difficult, try to do it bit by bit. So focus on one behavior at time, and try to persist on doing it daily, after 40 days of persistence, it will be a habit, and the habit will change to a permanent behavior. For example you can start training yourself to focus on your work all the time, just do it and you will find yourself making tiny progress every day, at the end of the 40 days you will find that you can do it and that it became a habit, and if anything happened to prevent you from doing the 7 hours a day work, you will feel sad for yourself and trying to make it up. Then try to learn something new per day, then measure your progress and so on.
